Ok, so I'm a long time lurker but having finally purchased the Flipper video, I feel like I am getting someway towards the way I would like to hit the ball. I have been working on lagging clubhead takeaway, whalloping the ball with my pivot etc and have definately seen an improvement in my ball striking, but when I look at the following videos, there are lots of things I would still like to improve.
I would appreciate any feedback people can give on these two videos, maybe a top 3 things to work on ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9P4SA__JkM - 7 iron face on (please feel free to ignore my mate clowning around in the background)

Here's what I noticed about the face on view. These are my personal opinions. I would add a little axis tilt to your right so your not so on top of the ball. Also, I would like to see your left tricep on top of your chest instead of next to it. I think this is going to allow your arms to be in a better position on the back swing. Read the perfect pivot articles on this site. I think if you work on your pivot that you will notice a great amount of improvement.

Down the line view:
I think puting the left arm on your chest at set up is really going to make things betters. By working on your pivot I think the club will be in a much better plane. I believe that if you swing to the top of your backswing and pause and let go of the club that it should hit somewhere between your shoulder and your neck. I don't think you would be able to currently do that.

Summary: Work a little bit on your setup but most of your work will be concentrating on improving your pivot. If you need clarifications or anything either post here or pm me. From your swing it looks like you either hit a pull or a cut with most of your shots. You also probably hit it fat or at least not make solid contact alot. Read the articles, improve the pivot, play better golf. With some smart work these problems can be fixed relatively soon.

It's tough to tell on a youtube video, but some basics are:

(1) Slower tempo (to allow for #2 and #3)

(2) More hip turn in backswing

(3) Hips more open at impact (add axis tilt accordingly)

(4) Find a more mature friend ;)

Guys, thank you for all the great feedback. I shall be reading and re-reading everything I can get on axis tilt and pivot. I managed to shoot 5 over for the back 9 in the monthly medal today (off a 20 handicap), so things are definately improving.
