#4 Actuation

The action that is commonly taught to actuate the #4 Accumulator is the ON PLANE motion of the right shoulder.

It APPEARS that players like Garcia, and Clampett do not do it this way. The right shoulder is still high well into the downswing. How do you believe they are accomplishing the #4 actuation?

I can tell you for a FACT that Bill Glasson pulls up with his left shoulder(at least in 1984) to activate #4, because he told me so only 15 seconds after hitting a long iron approach shot to a par 5.

Garcia pushes the shaft down behind himself with his hands, and so did Hogan, who demonstrated this move to John Schlee by grabbing Schlee's club at the top of his backswing and forcing the whole club downward 6". He told Schlee to do it with the right thumb and forefinger.

Sounds like John Dunigan's theories.
