48" driver advice needed

Hitting it well with lots of added distance but having a little trouble getting deep lag, due to the longer shaft.
Any advice except give up the 48" shaft would be appreciated.

well part of it is that you need to be pretty strong to be able to lag it deep into the downswing with that long of a shaft. Also a more bent left wrist and longer left thumb should help as well.

Strength is not a problem, I appreciate the long left thumb and bent wrist.

The longer shaft does slow down my transition; I have to wait for it to happen which with my strength is a good thing.

Check your ball position. You'll have a hard time lagging it deep and making good contact if the ball is too far back.

Have you tried gripping down an inch?...it will only cost you 5 yards max to lose the inch, but you may find the club performs better (I use a 47")..
