Arm Swing style?? Why wont it go away??

There is a very respected golfer here in my country..he is a very good player by reputation..I got surprise while watching him teach a class that he teaches the arms lead everything and if you do this he says everything else will follow..huh??

Why won't this method go away..can you really play pro golf using only an arm swing??
