Around or Up and Down?

I know that a good swing has both elements, but how does your swing feel? More around, or up and down?

Yes, I agree. Really just wondering about feel. I can feel like I am straight up and down, or like I almost totally around, and yet the two backswing positions look almost the same.

I don't feel either. I feel it in terms of narrow and wide and I usually feel narrow.

The last few weeks the club feels and is really on plane and VERY light. Lots of pressure in my hands in the DS also.

As for feel, it really is a depends question. If you are more of an "around" person you aren't going to feel much down and vice versa.

I have been fighting being underplane for a long, long time and with BManz help I can say that the club feels much lighter now that I'm getting the club back on plane to and through the ball.

Did you ever experiment with a weaker right hand grip while you were working through the below plane stuff?

Not coinsidently, that's roughly the lie angle of a golf club.
