My wife has put me on a budget for how much money I can spend on golf each month. I can play maybe two rounds and 1 day at the range. I’m just started leering TGM so I need allot of practice. I don’t have any open fields to hit full shot so I was looking at using Birdieballs. Has anyone used them?

i have and i like 'em...i think they move right or left pretty much like a real ball would and they have some heft to them so wind doesn't catch them like plastic or foam balls...hitting off the board can make you think that some shots that would have been "fat" were pretty ok, but you get used the feel of birdieball before board after awhile, so you know which ones are which...

Timm,
Birdieballs are great for backyard iron practice. They provide great feedback on your swing with both the sound and ball path they produce.

You cannot really hit them with a driver, however.

Also, if you are a real long hitter, you should spend a couple bucks more to get the Pro Series birdieballs. They're made out of a slightly tougher plastic.
(I have the regular ones, and they've held up fine.)
