I've worked very hard on my swing over the winter. Lots of swings and pretty much weekly trips to the range. Brian loaded me up with things to work on: Plane, pivot, swinging more left to name a few. My clubhead speed is way up (12 mph w/ a driver), I'm swinging more left, improved my pivot and developed better/more lag pressure and maybe some additional accumulator lag.
One thing that has always escaped me is a proper swivel to my finish. When I try this with my heavily weighted club, it happens every time. When I swing my superlight club, I swivel every time. When I make practice swings with a normal club, I swivel every time.
When I actually put a BALL down at the range and hit it- no swivel!
How important is it to swivel? What work can I do to correct this?
