Colonel Sanders may have loved them but not this golfer. What do you recommend to curtail the fowl (foul) swing motion?[xx(]

Hit right through the ball and allow the momentum of the clubhead to pull you towards the target. Only when your right arm gets to fully straight, about shoulder height, should you allow the left arm to bend upwards and around your left shoulder.

For a drill, try a little "Front end Therapy". Address the ball (no ball needed for the drill) and swing forwards (with a full pivot) from that point only and on to a full finish. Try to feel as if your right hand is pushing your left hand as far away from you and as high as possible. You will reach a point at which your arms have to bend. You do not need them to bend, nor should you try to make them bend any earlier.

Set-up.

Let your left arm hang straight down.

Turn your palm toward you.

This is your alignment somewhere late in the move to the ball.

Turn the abck of your left hand tward you (with a flat left wrist).

This is your alignment somewhere after impact...

....if you DON'T chicken wing (that is!)....

Apart from the left arm roll (no doubt about it), is there anything to do with the body balance? If the body is tilting forward, our mind will instruct our body to put more weight to the back (counter balance)?
