Club across the line at top of swing?

I have a tendency to get the club pointed across the line at the top of my backswing. I straighten the right leg a little and raise the right elbow as I near the top of my backswing which clearly contributes to this flaw, but it seems the club gets further across the line as I initiate the downswing.

Anyone worked on correcting this before? If so, what would you recommend to fix it?
