MOVING CENTERS OF PRESSURE

Dear Rick,

I am VERY interested in 'ground reaction forces', and 'moving centers of pressure', as they greatly affect the dynamic balance and stability of all golfers.

What previous post(s) or references does this video apply too ??

Appreciatively,

Dear Art,

Thanks for the note.

The video of The Shark shows what real world competitive golf looks like in reference to the efforts of my friend and fellow Manzella Academy Instructor, and Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher Chris Como. Along with Professor Young-Hoo Kwon, of Texas Women's University Biomechanics Lab in Denton, Texas.

Recently, Brian posted his 'Adam Scott' video from his instructional series at Golf Magazine offering a "layman's terms' summary of the reaction force vectors role in moving centers of pressure efficiently.

Here is the KWON-COMO link to Brian's Thread:

Also, the discussion on Rotation about the Coupling Point deserves mention:

The most rewarding heuristic is trial and error.

Kindest,

Rick
