??? most 10 handicappers would make double from where he played his 3rd shot. If he'd of knocked it on the green and made par it might make a top 10 great pars list.

We can agree that 2d video distorts reality for a close-up, slow motion, golf swing... but when I'm lounging in my boxers, eatin' popcorn, I can absolutely see that the off-angle blimp cam shows Tiger's drop was illegal.

Puh-leez.

The ball flight is theoretically possible but looking at the replay, in my view the ball starts to hook much earlier than it would have needed to for Tiger's drop to be correct.

Should have put a marshal in the blimp then. Blame the PGA.

We have the luxury of being arm chair QBs several days after the drop took place.

Tiger didn't (have access to instant replay and overhead shots/analysis). The rules officials didn't. His playing partner and caddy didn't.

I sincerely doubt I've ever dropped in the correct spot when I've been in similar situations. If Tiger's playing partner was OK with it and the marshals were also copacetic with the decision, what are we bitching about now?

Tiger is great, he's my hero, don't say anything bad about him. He's never done anything wrong. He is flawless, he is fantastic. I love him, because he's Tiger.
