A buddy of mine who shoots in the 90's hoods the clubface on his irons and hits 160 yard nine irons and 115 yard sand wedges(His driver only goes about 250 yards though) Does that mean he must have lag and a forward leaning clubshaft on iron shots? Actually I know alot of hi-cappers who hood and deloft, but does that mean they are achieving lag and a forward leaning shaft or are they "faking it"? How can you deloft to avoid throwaway?
