how to map greens

I'm preparing for a tournament and want to map greens. Googled a bit on this topic but there doesn't seem to be much hands on info. Seems like I need a Breakmaster device and a basic outline of the green. Any advice would be appreciated

You could use an iPhone or other smartphone that has a spirit level. Use Percentage, rather then degrees. Problem is how to map the location on the green to the location on your map. You can use google maps to get screenshots of the greens. Lots of work but I would love o have it for my course as well.
