Used to think it was due to a failing to shift weight laterally towards target. I now fix this when my left shoulder goes up enough on follow through. If my left shoulder stays too low past impact, my hips and left foot tends to back up. I try to let my hips and left shoulder move up thru impact and that fixes that left heel move. On wet turf I noticed my left foot digging a hole in the ground !
