Question about Never Hook Again....

I'm traditionally swing too much in to out and fight the 2 way miss (hook/push).

So whenever I employ some never hook again type principles (primarily Shake the sugar) there are many times that I hit straight pushes.

I'm thinking its because I've shifted the plane to the left and the clubface is out of whack (too open) with this new path. What type of drills/feels can I put in place to square up the clubface with the new path?

Is it a situation where I want to add more "roll"?

Thanks!

It could be a "Yellow Brick Road" issue. Try to swing more left, away from the wall. Swinging left should create some tumble in the swing and, thus, should help square the club.

I get a push with NHA if I let my shoulders open too soon, when I try to hit from the top. To correct it, I focus on waiting for the arms to drop. If I am patient, the club squares properly.
