Any ideas on why I am impacting irons on the toe? No problem with driver.
Impact feels good...divots after the ball..just catching it towards the toe.

Thanks

I feel pretty good at impact...not a problem with the driver..that is what is bugging me...I use the fiddle drill a lot to work on the extension the extension.

Brian's Top 5 for toed shots (from another thread)

No particular order...

#1. Swing too far to the left.

#2. Clubs are too flat.

#3. Attempt to "save" an open clubface "Hacker-style."

#4. Set-up too far from the ball to have your hips open and hit the inside of the ball as well.

#5. Left shoulder too far from the ball at impact.

lie angle of my clubs are 2 degrees flat (ping red dots). When hitting balls the grass line on the club face is a perfect horizontal line. I have checked them
(old fashion lie board) and they seem fine.

The lie board "lies"

My irons are all fitted with lie board - 2 degrees flat. Lie board marks on the sole are directly in the center. Everything went off the toe. Bent them almost 4 degrees up from 2 degrees - now 2 degrees up. Everything off the center of the face.

Get one bent upright and see what happens.

Worth a try..I will give it a go...Do you think I should go to neutral or further? Thanks
