Off the top of my head...
Saw some talk here recently that a lot of instructors teach reverse hips and that Brian doesn't like them. Wondering the theory behind teaching reverse hips and why the instructors here don't like them.
I would say some people teach reverse hips because:
1) they don't like a slight shift of the hips in the backswing
2) it's an easy way to get people to the inside of the ball
I would say Brian does not like them because:
1) it's too easy to swing too far inside-out
2) it can be less dynamic (harder to do the pullback, run-up, and jump)
I'm sure there are more reasons, but those are the ones that jump out to me.
