Right Leg

Brian... Do you think allowing the right leg to straighten on the backswing is easier(less likely to cause injury) on the hip than the Right Anchor?

There seems to be a lot of guys that are having problems with the right hip. I think Norman, Parnevik, and of course Jack Nicklaus have actually had to have surgery or replacements.

Just got back from a pretty intense golf trip, 36 holes for 3 days. My right hip really gave me alot of trouble. When I got home I did some research on Brians site, and decided to concentrate on moving my right hip straight back from the plane line and letting my leg straighten. You wouldn't believe the relief of tension in my right hip, plus, I started to hit the ball more squarely.

Brian,

If one were to try and adopt a straight right leg what compensations or things should they be careful of in the swing?
