His scorecard on Sunday had 7 pars, and he had a lot of loose shots.
I was able to watch his Sunday tee shot on 13 in slowmo on the dvr, where he hooked it but it wound in left rough perhaps off a tree, and where he let loose a loud tirade invoking diety's not his own.
He also said just after the outburst that he was stuck again. Perhaps he does not know this, but this is not the old Butch stuck problem, but a new Haney problem.
From the top of the downswing, he lowered his hands to the elbow plane and his pivot was quite restrained and as he came into impact he "realized" he was out of position and suddenly rotated his hips violently and fired his arms/hands. He had a bad lazy pivot.
But this is unlike his Harmon stuck problem where he was firing his hips super hard and a bit early and his hands were way behind.
I wonder just how much he knows and doesn't know...
By the way I blamed this (partly) on Haney becuase in the drop from the top it sure looked like a parallel planes kind of drop. It seemed he was concentrating more on that as a goal instead of more on pivot and impact.
