What happens when clubface control wears off

I spent Feb-May learning clubface control with twistaway to top and "knuckles to the ground" on the way down. I then moved to NHA to straighten out the path, and was playing great. I did take a couple weeks off to move to a new city, and wow, I can't do squat right now. 80, 83, 85, and I have been hitting 3 buckets per week. Lots of heel shots, pulls and pull hooks. I feel like I am practicing the same things I was early this spring.

What happens when clubface control wears off?

I had a problem like this and it turned out it was a leakage hook and that I wasn't swinging enough left. Make sure you have a flat left wrist at impact with video if possible.

I am more concerned with the heel shots, which is a factor of poor face control (I think). At least that is the problem I feel should be fixed first, but I am having trouble with the drills that worked before. I seem to be over doing the full roll, but if I don't roll, I hit it off the heel. Maybe it is a combination of things. I thought I had this licked, but apparently not.

............to get to the other side. Sorry old joke:eek:

I think the idea is to learn the differences and eventually find the middle or that which works for you.

heel shots out of control

Watch that you have not gone off plane on the backswing. With the twist away, you could be going too much inside too soon. Causing way too much out to right on the downswing. Let the club go back more straight and let the shoulders take it the correct amount in.

Rover golf has a nice club aid out that is perfect for getting it right. the Power Drive Pro. I have guys smoking it.

The heel shots are most likely coming from too much inside like a few others mentioned to you. Go up the wall and down the wall. It has helped me a lot. Otherwise your clubs could possible need adjusted for lie angle.
