I've really been struggling with my game for about 9 months. First 3 times out this year were horrid; seeing my clubhead out of my left eye on the backswing, overswinging and way way upright.
I happened to catch Brian's "Rounder Deeper Flatter" vid today about 2 hours before tee time in which he states "get that right shoulder as far away from the ball on the backswing as you can".
I keyed on that today and hit the ball better than I have in a long time. It was almost easy; power the backswing with the right shoulder, and get the right shoulder down plane on the forward swing. It worked from driver to putter. I had a feeling of calmness during my whole round.
I'm not saying it's the Holy Grail of golf, but I'll be trying it again next time out. Thanks Brian.
