Your right shoulder dips to much which drops the club inside.
This gives you a shallow angle of attack causing fat and thin
shots. When i am swinging square to the ball i feel like i am covering
the ball with my chest. Do you fight a slight push occasionally?
Guys, I'm working hard on axis tilt and getting my left shoulder higher and right shoulder lower. My ball striking has never been better but on occasion I'll start hitting shots thin. What am I doing wrong and/or what is the fix for this? Thanks. JRJ

No sorry but you've got it wrong. I've never hit it fat or thin until now. Let me clarify. I fight a high right shoulder and out to in swing path. I'm super steep. I am working on a better downswing with the left shoulder up and back and right shoulder down more on plane. I'm finally clearing my hips better and getting my tailbone in front of my neck but now I'm catching a few shots thin. Do I need to swing my hands and arms more DOWN??

jim: when you say down and out with the right shoulder, where is the 'out' to?
btw: do you ever get to the st louis area? if so, and not sure if you still do any teaching, i'd like to hook up with ya to have a look at the swing.
