Aaron, there are some TGM AIs in England, but not many. I've got a day lined up with one of them later this month which should be interesting and hopefully more informative than the lessons I've had from club pros in the past. However, I suppose I'm still choosing instructors on a "wing and a prayer" basis, but at least if they've bothered to improve their teaching qualifications it shows they're motivated and that they care. I'll let you know how I get on if you wish. Or we could remortgage and get ourselves out to English Turn...

There are no good instrutors in the north west of England, there used to be a very good teacher, in Manchester call Leslie Cain but i don"t know if he is still in Manchester. He is some times on the forum.

England calling

We now have a good number of AIs in England, TGM is very much alive and kicking here, Joe Daniels is here at the moment doing an authorised instructor class, which will see three more pros become AIs. Thanks for the mention lynx, I like the other AIs are more than happy to help anyone with their game. PM me if you want any info.

Can you recommend anybody in the north west AI or otherwise?

There are no AIs in the North West of England, as yet. If you go on The Golfing Machine website you can find a list of the AIs in England. You may have to resign yourself to a bit of travelling.

I just want someone who is a good instructor, not too concerned if they are AI or not

hmmmm er well Graham Walker coaches the england youth team and coached Danny Willet onto te euorpean tour. hes at The Oaks near York

The plane, the Plane

Hi Matt, always got some new training aids, some good, some not so good! I did treat myself to the PSP plane board, which is an inflatible plane board so you can hit full shots using it and not break anything. I am saving my pennies to see if I cant visit Brian at some point this year, and I would dearly love a Trackman!

I hope this new plane board is green and doesn't increase your carbon footprint lol. I bought a couple of alignment sticks off David Bown GSEB. Got to be carefull where you put those things i have already grazed my arm on them.

You are based down south? Are you ever anywhere near manchester surrey is a bit far to go for a lesson
