What do you guys and especially Mr. Manzella think about Robert Allenby's swing. He is one of the best ball strikers, and has to be, because probably one of the worst putters. His swing looks very simple and efficient. I like the way he seems to keep the radius of his left arm constant thru the back swing, as I have a tendncy to over extend my arms on the backswing.

Just thinking during the colonial that he has a nice NHA type pattern. He swings left very effectively.

I agree on both counts, a wonderful ball striker and lousy putter although when the greens are very hard and fast he has good touch.
If you get a chance to follow him in person do so because his ballflight is really great to watch. He doesn't miss too many shots.
He's 62nd on the money after taking the first 2 months of the year off following his mother's passing. Machine-like really.
Oh but he didn't play the Colonial!

I thought his ball flight was quite impressive at the open in 2006, seemed a stronger flight than his playing partner that day padraig harrington
