Offtopic, any brewers out there?

Oddly enough, my wife has a masters degree in brewing and distilling. Anything you want to know about beer or whiskey and she can probably help out.

Her first degree was pharmacology, so she knows drugs as well...

Not one - but work for one!

Not a distiller myself but work for Beam Global (Jim Beam Brands). Learned more about Whiskey, Bourbon, Tequilla, Scotch and Rum in my first few weeks that I ever thought I would know!

To answer a question though - there is not a Jim Beam Tequilla or Rum, but we have acquired some companies over the years that do make it (Sauza/Hornitos Tequilla and Cruzan Rums)...

I brew my own Ales....tried to brew some vienna lager, but just wasn't as good. Ales are pretty easy and you can flavor them really well.

It is fun to do, I have a Spring/Summer Ale party a debut my latest creation...most of the time people drink it all...

by far the biggest flop I ever tried was a blueberry ale similar to Sweetwater Blue...it was awful.
