Great lessons!!

We concluded the Tour Stop at Lake Presidential yesterday. As always the instruction was first rate: Trackman, full swing analysis, the short game matrix, bunker work, and 18 holes at one of the finest courses anywhere.

Brian's stuff never gets old. His approach is always fresh and easy to understand. The addition of Trackman only makes things better.

Naturally the lessons were followed up with dinner and Brian telling jokes, golf stories, and lessons on life in general.

A shout out to Damon Lucas - our host and co-instructor. For those in the MD/VA area looking to improve their games, don't hesitate to give him a call.

Really folks, if you want to improve, go see Brian!

Well done, B-Manz. You can always count on me showing up for your Tour Stops! Great stuff!!

All the best,
Erik

Great thread Erik.

I was at the Lake Presidential Tour Stop as a friend of the Academy. As usual, the practice tee and short game area were the focal point of the two days. Brian, Damon and "The Orangeman" were covering all departments of the full swing, The Driver, putting, and specialty shots around the greens and sand, including the Manzella Short Game Matrix.

Very important to note that when the Brian Manzella Golf Academy holds a school or various other offerings such as clinics or private lessons, the work never stops. The student is assured that Brian and Damon are vigilant and persistent in bringing about a path to improvement tailor made for you.

A good example is the 18 holes you played, (9 with Brian and 9 with Damon) are an extension of the work. Certain inflections into how you approach each situation are unearthed from observing you and the game you brought.

To all the students,

Good luck,

Rick

Great Information

I also participated in the golf school with Brian and Damon at Lake Presidential. It was my first chance to see Brian in action and he didn't disappoint. (I've been lucky enough to have 2 lessons with Damon prior to this event).

I've been following this site intently for a little over a year now. After tour stop announcements were made I always looked forward to the participant reviews, so I'll contribute a few lasting impressions:
- Brian is very hands on and will do what it takes to make the student understand what he is asking of them (Yes,
I got the business ;))
- If you are having trouble "getting it", Brian has a seemingly endless number of feels/ideas/drills at his command
that he will continue to provide until you have that "light bulb" moment.
- The man can play. I know he posted something about shooting a 78 in competition, but the shots I saw him hit
at Lake P, without warming-up, were very impressive. (Same goes for Damon: he dropped some bombs).
- The school is VERY interactive: demonstrations, practice, Q&A and some good discussions over lunch.

I can't encourage you enough to participate if you have the opportunity. The personality that makes Brian's videos so watchable is truly genuine - both he and Damon are down to earth, funny and most importantly knowledgable about the golf swing. I received some great direction during my 2 days and have a number of things to work on. I'm planning to schedule some more time with Damon and will certainly be looking forward to Brian's next trip to the Greater Washington DC area.

Ah yes I remember when Brian was in Las Vegas, and I had the opportunity to work with Brian for about a half hour. I think it was with me that it got named "The Business", 2 italians who like to have a nickname for everything, so I said what you given me the business.

Thanks just made me smile.
