how is VSP measured

i must apoligise this question has no doubt been asked many times. but i still dont understand how exactly vsp is measured i understand it is from a point before impact to a point after impact. at what exact point is it measured on the downswing to which point post impact. is this measurement from the the ball up to the sweet spot position at this point. also does vsp have a direct effect on AoA.

hello gary.

finally got something that explains it with more clarity. it is the angle made between the ground and the plane of clubhead trajectory at the bottom of the swing arc. hope this is of some help.
