Likes:

Nick Faldo - Funny, witty, knowledgable.

Roger Maltbie - very underated.

Gary McCord & Fehrety - Can be over the top, but know when to let the action speak for itself.

Dislikes:

Kelly Tillghman(sp) - No skills at all, just horrible

Johnny Miller - Like his sincerity, but he takes the brutal honesty thing over the top now as a "trademark" Like him bashing the tour for starting last weeks playoff on a par 5 with limited daylight, he may be right, but it was poor manners.

Peter Kostis - Swing vision is cool... with the sound off, the making broad based generalizations off funny swing angles and one swing is ridiculous.

I can't stany Lenny Watkis. Every other word out of mouth is 'spin.'

I like Jim Nance and Bobby Clampett.

Didn't mention my disdain for Watkins since he is unemployed teeheehee

Forgot bout Clampett though, I like Clampett.

One of the highlights of my year from Feb-Sept is listening to Feherty/Mccord or Maltbie on the course. I also like Miller, and Bobby Clampett.(Although BC says "center cut" a few too many times.

I really don't care for Gary "plenty of green to work with here John" Coch, or Ian Baker "let me scratch my eyeballs out of my head" Finch. Faldo is so so, and I am so glad ESPN doesn't do golf anymore.

In the end though, it didn't get any better than Ben Wright.

I can't understand what Faldo is saying about 75% of the time. Is Ben Wright still working? He was one of the very best.

I like Faldo, Feherty, McCord, and Dottie Pepper. They all know what they are talking about and say interesting and funny things.

I dislike Gary Coch, Jim Nantz, Roger Maltbie, Kelly Tillman, and a few other people I can't remember. Mostly Coch though, he says everything like he doesn't approve of what's going on or something, and in such a whiny voice. How is he on air?

I will never forget the 2004 (i think) Players Championship when Craig Perks had a 2 shot lead on 18, he hits his drive into the trees and instead of chipping out, he wants to try and hit a miracle shot through a narrow opening and go for the green.

Miller says to Maltbie:
"what the heck is he thinkin Rog, get down there and get a hold of that club before he hits the shot"

Generally I like Miller.....like Faldo mostly.....not a Kelly T. fan (she's too announcer-ish...always tries to pump everything up- says dumb things in the process)....not a big Azinger fan....I find myself disagreeing with a lot of what he says "about golf" (playing golf etc.) and just generally ain't big on him....

Right now no one else really stands out to me good or bad.

If Faldo stuck to what he knows instead of putting on his Austin Powers routine he would be ok. Used to like Curtis Strange. Ben Wright does some commentary for the golf channel now.
