I was great to see a guy hang tough at the end and win on the biggest stage in the world. He hit some great shots under pressure unlike a few other guys who had a chance at the end.

He gave allot of credit to his instructors and if I remember right he mentioned Mike Bender?? Anyone know much about him?

This device was featured for a minute or two on Academy Live back in 2004 when Mike Bender and Zach Johnson were hosting.

If you have access to TGC's Video Vault you can see Zach swinging in slow motion in the device.

They do a lot of work on a hip-high plane board also.

Zach's putting coach is Pat O'brien and he has some free video clips available at seemore.com which detail his putting theory.

he works 20 minutes from me and I have been to that course a few times. I have not spoken with him but I have seen this device. I would be scared that I would either get hurt climbing into it or get stuck trying to get out.

Yes and it is great for learning a new swing motion. Once properly setup, I was amazed at what my swing look like on video and how it 'felt'. A very effective learning aid. There are almost limitless combinations of setups to address swing faults and changes. I hear there is a home version in the works!
