    Seve

Found this quote on Lynn's site: "Jim McLean: With a huge talent like Seve, conscious thought can short-circuit the intuitive gift. He got with Mac O'Grady, and they had that ritual of burying Seve's old swing in the desert. I thought it was a sad day for golf. I wrote a long letter to Seve...

    Right Heel Down

How important is this? ... Seems some pros keep it down longer for irons shots... But then you look at Kenny Perry.....it's down till past Follow-Through....

    Someone translate 2-f

"If lag presssure is lost the hands tend to start the hosel (instead of the sweetspot) toward impact - that mysterious 'shank'. When in doubt 'turn' the clubface so both the clubshaft and the sweet spot will be on the same plane at the start down. Both planes pass through the lag pressure point"...

    Teaching

Brian... How much of teaching is experimenting with different things with the student? How many times do you have to do things different ways....or different things period....before you find something that seems to fit? How do you determine if a player should be using the pattern they're...

    Iron Fitting

Don't know a lot about this but it seems to me there's more to it than swinging on one of those boards and looking at the mark on the sole... I mean....wouldn't you adjust your swing to compensate for that? I got fitted to 4* upright a few years ago doing this....(yuck!)...

    Physics

To me....I've always felt like lifting the club up plane seemed "like too much work"....too "forced".... For my type of swing anyway....for me.... But what do yall think of this general concept? i.e. physics vs. geometry.... i.e. any difference in power and how much difference....any...

    Hands Moving Pivot

I'm talkin about in the downswing.... Even tho I hit the longest drive of my life using my hands....something seems different.... I don't feel like I can get the same axis tilt.....or maybe even as much power.... Any truth to this feel, or any reason for this? (i.e. something I can work on)

    This guy likes "X-Factor"

...the first "X-Factor"...lol... ....found this somewhere else: "The combination of the elastic properties of the SEC and the muscle spindle stretch reflex facilitate a more powerful contraction than is possible without a quick "pre-stretch." Here's a very simple demonstration: squat down nice...

Best way to learn or feel that 'swinging force'....

Best way to learn...? I dunno. To feel it.....I like really loose waggles over the ball....(really loose shoulders and forearms)....like the waggles Brian does in "Confessions/Flipper." (I think) ....or hitting balls with the feet together.

    Why did Sergio twitch?

I do it sometimes too.... What is that? I think it's almost a rehersal of some kind....of swivel....but with too much tension.....and/or stress.
