what do you guys use to stay in sync?

This happens to me plenty, mainly with (or maybe just that much more noticeable with) the driver; hips out race my arms/shoulders (leading to some sort of a slice, then in an effort to correct this, I don't pivot as much and then my arms/shoulders outrace my pivot (leading to some kind of wicked...

    Shaquille and the right shoulder

I was watching a video re-cap of a lesson I had with Brian back in 2007 and one thing I had somewhat forgotten about was keeping my right shoulder "back". Brian said to think of Shaquille O'Neal across from me using his arm to hold my right shoulder "back". I've forgotten the point/purpose of...

Help! Topping driver at the range...

Practice at the range was going okay until I started using my driver. I always want to hit that driver extra hard, someday I'll be able to stop myself. Regardless, I started topping balls like a madman...finally I just had to quit because I was afraid I was going to start making this a habit...

    struggling with chipping

My chipping is getting worse and it's never been good to begin with. I'm referring to chips anywhere from 1foot to 5 yards off the edge of the green. To start with, there are a few things I need clarification on: Should I use pivot or not? Should my eyes be over the ball (like in putting)...

    putting while watching the hole

I'm sure there's no "best" way, however, I was wondering if many have had success when watching the hole when putting? I believe Brian mentioned he watches the hosel of the putter. I think most stare a spot underneath the golfball until they hear the ball drop into the hole. Thanks, p

Tour Pros that use vertical angle hinge putting?

Does anyone know which Tour Pros use a vertical angled hinge putting stroke like Brian and The Sheriff teach? Thanks, p

    putting questions

A couple of easy putting questions. What is the ideal ball position relative to the feet when putting? Also, what's the cure for "stubbing", I believe this is when the putter head its the turf before the ball. It's probably an incorrect or shifting low point. I think the cure is to have more...

    Manzella Putting Stroke....Good Eye.

I noticed (and I could be wrong) two things in the SHERIFF video. You watch the ball instead of keeping your eyes on the point where the ball used to be until you hear the ball fall into the cup. It really doesn't seem to me that you "rock" your shoulders, you almost seem to turn them.

Brian, What's your instruction schedule for June in Louisville, KY? Thanks, paul

    runnin' out of right arm?

What does runnin' out of right arm mean? I think it's that feeling that pulls or wants to pull your right hand off of the club(?). What's the cause and what's the fix for it? Is it not enough pivot? Thanks, p

    stay in your posture...mid/long irons

I've been watching Brian's video answer of "stay in your posture" and the last segment is very good for working on keeping the right shoulder down as well as the hip bump. This actually works very well for me from the SW, PW, 9, 8, and mostly the 7 iron. However, any club longer than the 7...

    any ideas to obtain touch/feel/distance?

I really struggle with distance/touch/feel or whatever you want to call it. Let's use any distance from 100 yards and in, I never hit it the distance I need to, I'm either too short or too long. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, p

    Louisville, KY

Brian, Is your timeframe for being in Louisville, KY still the same? I think you said you'd be there on April 15th. With all your work on the house and all, I just wanted to make sure. I'm hoping to come see you on the weekend (April 19th/20th) for a couple of hours each day. Thanks, paul

    Louisville, KY dates?

Brian, When are back in KY? I don't need exact dates yet, but even the month and the beginning/end of the month estimates would be a big help. I'm trying to plan another trip to see you for lessons. Thanks, p

    Rovergolf - PowerDrivePro

Looks like www.rovergolf.com has come up with a new training aid called the Power Drive Pro (click on Power Drive Pro tab at the top of the webpage). It appears he is creating a different/new type of swing? Check out the video. I'd be interested to know what everyone thinks about it. I...

    TGM and the Triangle?

Does TGM believe the shoulders and arms should form a "triangle" \/ and that the elbows should stay "in" so to speak? What about the shoulders staying connected, an example would be holding headcovers in each armpit? Thanks, p

    help locating left arm/wrist drill?

Hello, I know Brian did a video answer or YouTube clip or something where he had a drill/exercise to gain "muscle feel" or whatever in your left arm/wrist and I can't find it. Basically, he just used a club and turned it different ways, etc. I don't even know what to call it which is probably...

    Firm left side question

I need some clarification about the "firm left side". When standing straight, is it the "side" where one's arms would hang or is it the "front side", say from your knee all the way up (still standing straight)? I hope I'm making sense. I wanted to attached a pic, but I couldn't figure out how...

right shoulder in my right ear

I don't have a great swing, but I think it is getting better, albeit s-l-o-w-l-y. I've been working on a better pivot, etc. Also, I don't flip nearly as much as I used to and there a number of times that I'll make ball-first contact and then and leave a divot. Regardless, I've noticed that I...
