    A "Typical" Par Round

Hit 11 Greens in Regulation, giving a GIR of 61.11%. One-putt 2 out of 11 times you hit a green in regulation (two-putting the other 9 holes), giving a Putting Average of 1.818. For the 7 holes where you didn't reach in regulation, Scramble 4 of them by making 3 pars and 1 birdie. Make bogies...

Visually straight path really a bad thing?

The clubhead blur basically looks like a straight line down the target line when I swing. I find this straight blur to be a good guide for hitting is straight. But we know TGM talks a lot about down and OUT until low point, etc. So is a visually straight path (or maybe slightly outside in)...

What % of your lessons do you...?

What percentage of your lessons do you change a student's setup (e.g. tilt at address, grip, etc.)? Is this percentage the same with scratch players as 20+ handicappers?

    teaching malcos

What's the best strategy for teaching malcos (as in mal-coordinated)? It seems like whatever you tell them, no matter how good the information is, and how well that information is presented, they still miss the ball or get very poor contact.

    little suggestion for BM.com

Brian, when you get the chance, you should archive all these vid clips (e.g. swing sequences, the old video answers, etc.) and audios (e.g. questions/answers, and swing analysis)in one place for easy reference, so we don't need to dig it up using the search tool.

Video: Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson - Swing comparison

BI3w9zZmHG8 Ben Hogan on the left, Byron Nelson right. This is Ben Hogan Power Golf style, as opposed to Five Lessons. Notice the late Ben Hogan is more similar to Byron's pattern.

    Please comment on this

http://www.zippyvideos.com/6077177346866126/kevin_swing_april_07/ He slices, hooks and hits it straight all with 1/3 probability. However, he's been s******* (yes, that dreaded s-word) it lately. To get things started, what are five things he can do right now to produce immediate and...

    few questions

few questions for jim and others... how can someone who gets so steep (above TSP) swing so far to the right? assume he doesn't get back to the elbow plane... if tiger was perfectly on the TSP during that amazing year 2000 (as i think brian said, but correct me if i'm wrong), does that mean he...

    Flying Wedges in REAL WORLD

To have flying wedges, the left wrist must be flat and right wrist level. Do you think adherely strictly to the RIGHT WRIST LEVEL idea is practical? Do you think this inhibits left wrist cock? Is is really possible to float load by just cocking your left wrist more without increasing bend...

Why is fixing the clubface the main priority in NSA but not in NHA (even though it's still important)?

    Mannerisms that annoy me

When a player doesn't take a fresh grip after hitting a ball. He immediately attempts to rake another ball keeping both hands on the grip, making himself look like some spasticated hockey player. Anything that causes you guys to pull your hair out?

Has anyone got any Byron Nelson swing sequences or videos to share? Here's a sequence Brian used for an anaylsis: The audio can be found here: http://homepage.mac.com/brianmanzella/.Music/nelson.mp3 Important note: Byron is using a wood in the target-view sequence (bottom row), but an iron...

Great Players without a Neutral Grip

There are great players who don't use a neutral grip (flat left wrist matching leading edge). How did they play so well without a neutral grip and what can we learn from them? Some examples are Lee Trevino and Sergio Garcia (currently number one ranked in GIR).

    High Loft Wedges

I heard Brian saying he's not a big fan of 60 degree wedges. What do you guys think of Mickelson's 64 degree wedge, the one he's using in this years US Open? Think you can play the same kind of shots by skillfully manipulating a 56 degree wedge? From Mickelson: "It also gives me a chance, as...
