This is going to be a new series....

Looking for a couple of questions from you guys on the clubface. Later today, I'll pick the best ones, and add a couple if necessary and do the article.

Is the right arm only drill (for right handers) the best drill for feel .... and to show yourself the natural or normal clubface and club action..

I hope this makes sense...

At what point in the dowsnwing is the clubface already programmed by the golfer and we can't do anything more to affect the face for impact?

How does force against the shaft (drive/hold - right index pad) affect the clubface immediately before and during impact?

Why is tugging more preferable than drive/holding when it comes to a more "stable" (really means zero face) face during impact?

Assuming that there is no time or way to consciously square the face at impact, how can one best achieve a square face?

Is clubface square to the clubhead arc desirable? If it is, how long should you try to keep the face square to the arc during the swing?

Is there a simple and accurate way to find a club's cog? As important as that spot is why isn't it accurately marked by club manufacturers? Isn't lining up cog between club and ball the whole point?

re the out toss: Does facing the palm outward in the direction of the out toss close the clubface, or just make the clubface become square to the intended arc of the downswing? I hit mostly pulls when facing the palm outward.

Re: the out toss question... could hitting the ball left be a result of increased torque placed on the shaft since learning and applying "IATR." If more force is now being applied to the shaft causing more forward shaft bend(possibly causing club face closure)be a fitting issue not previously experienced? Is it more of making a full back turn(back to the target) problem or possibly a ball position issue( where you strike the ball on the hula hoop)? I know for me everything has changed and I strike the ball with more force without feeling like it. I tend to miss left now myself. In my case I feel like it partially is due to club fitting, though I'm also sure is due to the indian also. Not a lot of practice time but the mind is always going, sorry... does anything I said make sense?..(I hope)???

Same issue here. I hope this question makes the cut.

PM me if it doesn't make the cut

do you have any good pictures on what the clubface should look like at address? lately, what appears to be square to me is likely very open based on my ball flight.

Does the clubface position at the top (i.e. toe down, level with the horizon or somewhere in between) affect a players ability to square up the face at impact? Is it a useful observation?
