I was very impressed by Boo - very quick player, shaped the ball both ways with ease ... and nice guy too! video coming soon...

JB: has some interesting left foot action, never noticed it before.

Ellebye: OMG I've never seen lag like that before. I can't imagine trying to control that.

Ryo Ishikawa: I like his red checkered pants. :)

More on Ellebye: Man he gets up on his right toe very quickly. I have a hard time believing he can keep that swing for many years. Very interesting follow through. One of the most interesting swings I've seen on tour. I'm curious how far he hits it?

Interesting how Ishikawa extends his left (glove) index finger away from the grip (see 2nd swing in that vid).


Is Boo a flipper?

I do really like Chris Woods' swing. I like how he covers and chases with his right side...kinda Faldo like maybe.. Anybody have a Driver swing??

Boo has a pretty strong grip, so maybe you are seeing that?? I think if he really bowed the left wrist..look out, fore left.:eek: I could be full of it though, not 100% sure.

He was playing that round with Bubba...and a few other US players...can't remember - he was not super long..about the same as the other 2 US guys with driver...Bubba often used 3 wood when the others used driver.

It does not appear that the momentary massive accumulator lag offers him any distance benefit...and he was always struggling with control.

Did not see enough of him to work out what his miss was but he always worked hard to hit the fairway

That video os not great because shot into strong sun and I have not worked out how to adjust exposure on the slo mo settings...

That swing does look a bit flippy - very early left wrist bend after impact....but it was a great shot....6th hole - long par 3 ...230 yeards...ended up really close - 15 foot ...one of those swings where Brian might say ..."the ball doesn't know"

He does cup his left wrist in the early downswing though...
