I don't know if that's true.Golf imitates life. How you approach golf is how you approach life, times ten. If you want to get to know a person's true character, play a round of golf with them. If they say they don't play for money, they're probably cheapskates. If they always want to bet, straight-up, regardless of their talent, they probably have a gambling problem and a very low FICO score. If they throw clubs and flirt with the cart-girl, they're probably divorced (maybe twice). If they carry a 2-iron and have a good tan, and hit it a mile, they're probably unemployed.
THe person that I know who doesn't gamble, owns a hotel.
The person that I know who gambles, owns a clothing company.
The guy who flirt with the cart girl has two kids, and been married for 10 years.
and lastly....the guy who carries a 2-iron have a good tan, and hit a mile, they work @ the Proshop teaching golf in my home golf course.
