Ya I saw that just the other day.

His lbs. of force were actually quite a lot higher when yelling.

1500 vs. 2000 and something.

He was all worried about doing it without screaming though. (cause he always screams I guess) It was almost like they just sprung it on him during the actual testing that he was going to have to do this........cause he seemed worried about it.

I figure there had to be a psychological factor. A holding back or w/e.

They shoulda given him some time to work with non-screaming some before this show................rather than just springing it on him and having him break one stack.

It was his last test too I think.........(after he had done a bunch of other physical stuff).............not sure if fatigue played a role.

I don't think Zuback yells.

Who knows...the martial arts guys do it. Maybe there is something to it.

Some of this is over the top though. I had to laugh at the guy @ 5:30...

Yeah, I have it on tape. My wife and I had a laugh at that one, too.

I've seen Zuback get amped a few times. Everybody does it one time or another. It happens.

FSN Sport Science show did a test where a martial artist tried breaking a stack of bricks either with yelling or without. He easily broke the entire stack while yelling, but didn't when he was silent.
the difference is they yell before they hit.

PS: it should be a grunt, not a yell.

Not really. Its more during and immediately after. And yelling does the same thing. Same as with tennis. The noises they make aren't before they hit, they are a result of putting maximum effort into each shot.
