73 degree club not a gimmick

Last week somebody made a post on my 64 degree thread about a 73 degree club. I bought one for the heck of it (always been an impulse consumer) and hit with it at the range for the last two days.

I observed the obvious- that one could hit rediculous practical joke-like floppy shots, but that's not a reason to have one in the bag. Full swings with this club are nonsense.

BUT...I tried hitting frozen wristed chip shots with a TON of forward lean and deliberate acceleration downward. If done properly, you can get the trajectory way way down and the ball has mucho spin.

I make no rediculous claims of my new short game or anything, but submit that this pattern with this club is intriguing.
