A couple "live" swings...

I don't think I've ever seen my swing on a shot that mattered, live on the course. We played a scruffy little muni this weekend, and since we already had the cameras out, we decided to use the video function to film a few swings.

The first swing is on a decent little par 3, it played 205 to the pin with healthy cross breeze. Played a 5 iron cut to about 20' past the pin.

The next swing is an okay par 4, 463 yards, brisk from left to right, bit of trouble on the right. Played a cut off the left side of the fairway, was left with 132 for the second.

I see plenty of things that need work and things that are just uncomfortable to look at, I also think my swing needs attention too. I'm amazed at how different it looks compared to who it feels. Just basically looking for things to work on for next season. Any and all comments, criticisms, jokes, and advice are welcome. No need to worry about PC or feelings getting hurt - don't have 'em, nor do I have any inflated misperceptions of my place on the swing scale. I really enjoy competing and am just looking for things to help tilt the odds. :)

Scruffy little muni? Like a pigs arse!

Swing looks pretty solid. I am betting you have a pretty reliable shot shape.

I really can't see anything bad in the swing. You have some carry which you might need to monitor so it doesn't get too excessive.

Especially reading about a 215 yd. cut 5 iron and a 331 yd. cut drive. Nice. What did you shoot? I'd work on the short game. I'm with ya Eyeoffish on the "muni".

I wish I had played a nice little muni this weekend instead of suffering through another ravens debacle.....

Mr. Shields, you are welcome. We gave you guys one.

granato....nice move. I hope you had a great time out there!!! My wife and I headed out there in the spring.

Correction....we took it.:p Hall of Fame Players make Hall of Fame plays. Where was loud mouth 52 up the middle on that last touch down?

Just teasing. Awesome game to watch.

Mgranato, id just monitor the face and whether that little reverse tumble gets it too open. Looks like you have the right grip and left wrist movement to match it up for a little cut.

What do you do to draw the ball?

Looks like 5 & 4 at Pacific Dunes. Just guessing of course.

Swing looks good. A little cut is the "go to " shot?

Was in the air all night so I missed the game, but I say this picture of Roethlisberger at the post game presser...

...what happened?

I'm not really sure about the carry. Didn't know I did it nor do I feel it - neither are probably good things, I'm guessing? I've been making a conscience effort to use a bit more right arm than I used to, could that be the cause of "unintentional" carry?

For a draw, I just try to swing a little more to the right of this swing - that's the feel anyway.

If the swing is repeatable and reliable I wouldn't worry about the carry.Another guy by the name of Bruce Lietzke did it in winning 13 pga titles. He was also known to spend more time fishing than practicing so this pattern might be the ultimate low maintanence one.

:D:D:D I'm the worst loser and the worst winner in sports fan history. Totally obnoxious.

I can feel your pain. Well, Damon should really feel it, he was in the upper deck sunday night with the wind chill at 12degrees. Either way, I was trying to send up the bat signal to watch out for Head and Shoulders on the backside, Flacco has got to see him!!!!!!!! Crikey!

I have the feeling the teams will meet again, Tomlin was a touch of class after the game and I am sure you were doing backflips accross the turnpike!

I love that golf course, one of my all time favourites, for sure.

I don't suppose you have a face on view, do you?

The tee-to-green views were so stunning that we didn't even think about wasting "film" with a FO view.

I sure hope to get back someday with more mates and for more rounds. Course #5 is in the works, they're putting it were Sheep's Ranch sits - incredible site!
