What's the theory behind your line of scrimmage alignment process? Does it have to do with overcoming the concept of convergence? When my left shoulder is pointing at the target I feel square to the target even though I know I'm not square (i.e., parallel left). I've felt this way all of my life. Maybe that's why pull draws come so easy for me is that I don't aim parallel left instinctively.
Convergence = think of looking down railroad tracks that we know are parallel but appear to converge in the distance.
