Those distances were with my old e4 weighted mcgreggor's. I now play mp-14's with much weaker lofts. I couldn't find my old 5 iron, but I do have my old 4 iron (which is going back in the bag to act as a 2 iron in this set) and my 6 iron. The 6 iron measures 37" and the 4 iron is 38".

Have you ever had your swing speed measured?

Can't wait to perfect the driver and empty the wallets of everyone around here A good short game wouldn't hurt either. I'm all good iron play and good putting. My driving and wedge game need a lot of work.

The last time I was on a swing monitor I had a cast on 2 weeks ago, and could not move the club faster than an old lady. So I'm going to say that I don't know my real swing speed.

You make a good point Danny! At the course that I frequent the most a driver isn't needed except on par 5's. I've spent many rounds with not a single wood in my bag, and to this day I still cannot hit a freaking fairway wood to save my life. All that brush the grass mess doesn't make sense to me I know how to mash and that's it. My driving was improving before I got injured, so we shall see what becomes of my golf game.

A Friend of mine was the same way with the 5 Iron... He finally resorted to essentially playing with the 5 iron.... He could never understand this situation either and could not solve the Problem... Do you consider this situation a Flaw or a Blessing.... I believe you have a serious flaw and need professional Help(Brian)... I would be very Interested in Brian's Fix.... Have a Great Day....

I don't see it as a flaw or a blessing. There are so many ways to shoot a low score.
