...and from Lil Zach to David Toms.

It should encourage all of us that even guys like DT at his level need "help" to "fix" things. DT was on a hot streak but recently has missed cuts and not played well. I'll be rooting for him........

awesome Brian. Now DT, just give props when you do well!!!

What was he doing wrong? I assume just his normal bad habits.

David has a tendency to get the club swinging too inside-out and has to save it with a hand oriented low finish.

We fixed it.

He was 4-under with 4 to play, with 240 to a par 5 and hit it in the water and made 6 (just came up short).

He birdied the next hole, but bogeyed his 17th and made an up and down par at his 18th(#9) with a wedge (just came up a hair short).

Hopefully tomorrow will be lower (67 or lower would be nice), but as long as he is swinging like he did today, he'll be fine.

Props were given to the media for your boy. ;)

So Manz, should we look for the next Golf Digest Rob Akins article to be about how to get the club on plane? Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I'm happy for you and also that DT acknowledged your contribution.
Great job, the proof is in the results.

Brian: The things you are working on are the same as last time you worked with him when he won a tournament. Why is it that players of his quality don't get it and you have to keep helping them with the same issues?

A nice follow up today for Toms. The fact that he's not using a Taylor Made driver makes your instruction that more impressive! I can't believe I'm rooting for a Cleveland guy this weekend, that in itself is one of the most telling endorsements you'll ever have.

The cleveland comp is probably one of the best ever drivers produced. The hi-bore "can be" better but it suits certain players and is tricky to fit correctly.
