How can I tell my 10 year old the difference between these two, or better put, how can he tell me?
Preferably, hitting employs a straght line path and an angle of approach as swinging would have a circular delivery with an arc of approach.quote:Originally posted by DDL
What has always confused me is that a hitting motion has circular hands , but an angle of apporach while swinigng has straing line hands, but an arc of approach. I would thinkg it would be the other way around.

Based on 12-2-0 on swinging, the delivery path is straight line, not circular. That means the path of the hand is straight line but the clubhead is arc of approach?
