Are you related to the Manzella that's tearing it up on Tulane's #1 ranked college baseball team in the nation?

Helping him with bat-head lag or anything?

Do you need a flat left wrist in baseball?

Matt i'll tell you right now that there can DEFINATELY be bat-head THROWAWAY in baseball.

Its why i never hit the ball very good when i was younger playing. After i learned more about the golf swing i went to the batting cages for the first time in like 5 years and hit the ball with what felt like golf throwaway and the "new" way that i adjusted from my knowledge of the golf swing and you could literally "hear" the difference just like you can in golf!

I played a bunch of baseball growing up, but I drifted away from it during college. This is when I really got into golf. Long story short, the next time I picked up a bat (about ten years after I put it down), it felt totally alien in my hands. I kept interlocking my grip without thinking about it, and after a couple of rusty swings, I found that I had a ton more power with the bat than I ever had before.

I used to like watching Ken Griffey Jr. swing the bat -- effortless power personified. He's definitely a swinger, not a hitter.
