Another NHA 2.0 Question!

In my attempts to ingrain "Up the Wall, Down the Wall, and Away from the Wall," I find that I have more success in mentally visualizing the backswing and downswing when I focus on hand path rather than club head path. That is, I think of moving my hands, rather than the clubhead, up, down, and away from the wall. This thought seems to keep me from having too much pop out. Is this an acceptable way to think of up, down, and away from the wall?

My guess is whatever you need to "feel" to get it right is the right thing. During my lesson I described a certain swing to Brian and he looked at me like I had two heads. Then he said "Well just do that" What is the ball flight doing?

When I do it right, I get a fairly straight ball with a high trajectory. My common error is to fail to keep the face slightly open at impact, which leads to a straight pull.
