anti-left swing

At adress, your hip line is straight. In the start up, looking down your hips will become closed to the targetline, whether they initiate this move or are just responding to right forearm pickup motion. Either way, the hips close. If you swing down with a twisted body..i.e. the hips stay closed through what feels like impact, going left is virtually impossible. I like it. Twist into yourself, stay twisted.

Maybe I'm missing something, if the hips don't clear, isn't there a good chance you'll come into the ball too much from the inside causing a hook or block, also from that position, won't it be extremely difficult to maintain lag(hips get in the way), could result in flipping the club(FORE LEFT!)

Digger....

I LOVE (and play my best) with an ANTI-left pattern.

It produced my best golf...all of my personal bests...my only course record.

But...

I did it NEARLY opposite from what you describe.

And so did ole Lee Buck!
