Arnold Palmer

I am 32 years old and unfortunately too young to have seen Arnie in his day. Apparently, today Arnie has decided to stop playing competitive golf and despite knowing that it had to stop at some time, I find myself sad. He had always seemed (even at 77) the epitome of cool. I know a little bit about my golf history and what Arnie did/meant for the game, but it is the small glimpses of who the man was, not the golfer, that made me a fan. Congratulations and thank you Mr. Palmer.

Ya I haven't seen/heard a lot of him either....but there's something about the guy.....I think it's impossible to not like him.

When they brought him in post-Ryder cup (I think) to talk to Miller and whoever else was hosting he had a lot of really good things to say.
