As a golf aficionado I often watch it, and I really wish I liked it - but I don't. Too much theater for me. Nice to hear many of you enjoy it.

Back to the pool "cocky" ED - he had no chance w/ his lack of experience and talent - he was sure to be the first out.

I was wondering a little about this guy when he said he was one of the best athletes in the world (though who knows)...then it showed he was an Olympic gold medalist. (4x100 m Relay)

Talent and desire no doubt but to me it looked like he was a little over-intense.

Works better in sprinting (swimming?) than golf.

He's not talking about handicaps. He's talking about the girls. A girl that would normally be a "7" immediately jumps to around a "10" if she plays golf. Bonus if she can actually play well.

Yeah, I know.

Martin said he knew some of the constestants in prior shows and I want to know how good they really are. Some of them hit shots that look like mine and I am no +.

I can't speak for all of them, but I know Kevin Taylor and Matt Vick from the Mesquite show, and David Mobley from the partners one. KT and Vick are both seriously good players and great guys to boot. Mobley is also a great guy and capable of good play, but doesn't get to practice all that much. He can really bomb it though (won WLDC in 2005 or 2004 I think).

Back in the day (The Pre-Mandrin Era) he was the poster child for the ideas "STLOC" and "hit down on the driver" whether he knew it or not!

(Mobley that is)

Still a great swing no doot.
