Thanks the help lookingtolearn, Kevin and everyone else!!! I will try it out this week, once the rain stops and let you guys know how it goes.

tennisdu,

The fix, as Kevin has explained in the past, is to stay closed in the transition, keep the hands in as they work down, and turn/tumble the sweetspot toward the ball. Try for a vertical left arm at last parallel.

A Soft Draw backswing can be very helpful with setting this up.

The forefinger and thumb off drill that you mentioned could help too, as it should help you stand the club up a little more in the downswing.

I think this is my biggest problem now, dragging the handle and leaving my face open. Thanks for the tip lookingtolearn, gonna try this tonight. Might have to research this "tumble" some.

Quick question: What does the vertical arm at last parallel do to help this? I guess I'm having a hard time visualizing this. Is this like maximum trigger delay? For some reason I think I can still drag it and leave it open from there? Maybe I'm confused. Thanks

Curtis,

The vertical left arm position I was referring to would be seen in a DTL view. It's just a way to observe how much "in" you have with the hands and left arm at that moment. Another example Kevin has given is to try and keep the hands inside a vertical line drawn from your chin to the ground.

Holy smokes that makes sense and I like it. Thank you so much. Was there a good post with this info or have you had a lesson from Kevin? Thanks again

Happy to help.
I haven't had a lesson but Kevin has done a great job explaining it in multiple threads on the forum. If you get the time, you might want to do a search for his posts and read the relevant threads.
