Brian, anyone, will this Camcorder be ok?

I'm using a plain digital camera, a sony DSC-P41. In the sun, it freezes the club fine. In VX mode (which needed a memory upgrade) it's 640x480 @ 30 frames per second. Cost $200 six months ago. You need a computer to see the details, but it's a lot more convenient and cheaper than a camcorder.
