Another great video from Brian Manzella. Thanks for doing this Brian. I think a lot of people appreciate what your doing. I know I do.

Good stuff again Brian. Much appreciated.

Brian, is there a link that we can download it from (for the previous episodes I've found them by searching on utube, but this one doesn't seem to be found). I stick them on my phone and watch them over on trains and planes and in hotels etc...

Wish I'd known Jim was in Chicago, was over there a couple weeks ago, would have tried to look him up..

Another masterpiece Brian. Once again the BEST and EASIEST to use information on golf I have ever seen. You make me want to quit my job and try to make the tour.:)

Thank you!

Brian,

This show really felt like a gift. I can't think of anyone else who would provide video answers like this to individual questions. You are truly a generous person. I have often told my own children and my students that the most generous gift that anyone can give is the gift of time. Thank you so much.

For the rest of you reading this, you should know that I am a 58 year-old hacker (although Brian generously called me "an average golfer" in another thread). Brian is not going to become famous or get named Golf Digest's top teacher by helping someone like me.

Perhaps this analogy will help me convey my feelings. I feel as if I e-mailed Eric Clapton a question about guitar playing and he went out and recorded a video to illustrate his response.

As for the content, it is, of course, terrific. I'm sure that many, many golfers will be helped by your answers to Joe and myself, as we have been helped by all of your videos. You have the unique ability to take specific questions and to answer them in a way that is helpful to everyone. You are truly a world-class teacher, in every sense of the word.

Thank you very, very much.

Best Golf Instruction for Free!

Brian,
I just watched Episode 4 and can't thank you enough. You have more information in these 30 minute free sessions than just about every high-priced DVD on the market. (I've bought them all). I own all of your video material and have just started trying to incorporate your advice into my 60 year-old swing.
At the end of episode 4, you mention another wall. So we have a wall (movie screen) towards the target, a wall behind us and at a right angle to the movie screen, which we can turn our right shoulder to and then turn the right shoulder to the ball. Is the "third" wall at a right angle to the wall behind us? And are we supposed to hit the wall with the club had at a proper openess or closedness?
Thanks again for your generosity. I'm sure Mr. Doyle will also thank you for the great endorsement of his teaching tapes.

Bravo

Episode 4 is really good stuff Brian..thanks very much...the swing keys of a transition with a hip slide forward followed very closely with "setting" the club shaft/head on the turned shoulder plane on the back wall is very imaginative and provides a very good visual for those of us with thick heads. Very hard to come over the top or cast if one follows your keys.

Of course even with the right shoulder moving down plane (The Turned Shouder Plane) the club could approach the ball on the elbow plane as well. :)

Left Shoulder/Right Hip

Brian,

Nice piece on golf swing. Does the left shoulder actually line up with the right hip early in the backswing and at the top of the swing?

Best Video I've Seen

Brian,
I really appreciate the easy to understand instruction you give. The explanation you made of having an "elongated" left side has been awesome. It has really straightened out my ballflight (I pull left on bad shots) and has made my ball striking a lot crisper and even allowed me to start drawing the ball for the first time in my life. I've been watching instruction for years and this is the first time I've been able to try something and have it work immediately AND keep on working vs WOOD (works only one day) tips. Thanks for the time you put into your work! You're definitely making an impression.
